Culminated from nearly half a decade of experience, MCEDC‘Carta Sauce is the first wax engineered especially for micarta! Since becoming a maker that works primarily with phenolic resins, I’ve been chasing that perfect balance; not dull and muddy, but also not a polished gloss that feels like glass and leaves fingerprints. This is that solution, made in my little kitchen in B’ham, AL. ‘Carta Sauce is food safe, making it also ideal for cutting boards! (Contains food grade mineral oil)
It works great as a touch up for smooth sanded finishes, and brings life to rougher machined pieces. (Production scales, etc.) There is a faint scent of locally sourced, all natural beeswax.
